AYO IPINMOYE
Ayo Ipinmoye serves at present time as National Coordinator and CEO of Civil Society in Malaria Control, Immunization and Nutrition (ACOMIN). ACOMIN is the national network of Civil Society Organizations working on interventions in Malaria, Immunization and Nutrition in Nigeria. Ayo is currently serving as the 2nd Vice Chair of the Global Fund CCM in Nigeria, in which he was elected to represent the Malaria Civil Society in Nigeria. He had previously served as the Vice Chair and Coordinator of the Civil Society Platform for Health in Nigeria. He possesses two Master’s Degrees in Social Work (2012) and Environmental Health Management (2014). He has been an active participant at the highest levels in the civil society sector and has helped many significant projects that had impacted Nigerian Communities. Ayo has served on many national and international Technical Working Groups and Committees and is at present time a Member of the Steering Committee of Civil Society for Malaria Elimination (CS4ME), which is the global Civil Society Network coordinating NGOs and CBOs engaged in Malaria Elimination efforts. Ayo is versed in community, national as well as international interventions.
SYLLA BOUBACAR
Committed for more than 20 years to the fight against malaria, HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis, SYLLA Boubacar has been observing since 1998 the disastrous socio-economic consequences of HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis in the communities of the city of Mamou in Guinea. Having noticed the loss of income linked to the different costs borne by the patients and their families, he started a large-scale youth awareness campaign to sensitize his community. Very involved in the fight against the 03 diseases, Mr SYLLA Boubacar accompanies a number of national Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the strategic monitoring of programs implemented in the health sector. Since 2012, this Guinean health sector activist has become an African and global civil society actor in the health sector (member of OAFRESS, GFAN, DESICI….). He also supports other national partners in the advocacy and mobilization of domestic resources for health. Today, it is on dedicated platforms that he leads the bulk of strong communication to CSOs and the Guinean government in order to improve the community management of malaria in Guinea with the creation of the national coalition for the fight against malaria of which he is the president.
DR. SHAMPA NAG
Dr Shampa Nag possesses ~20 years of professional & research experience in the health sector with special emphasis on malaria control/elimination and cross-cutting domains. She served and provided technical assistance (and continues to do so) in India and overseas in various capacities (with national & international NGOs, governments, multilateral, bilateral and for-profit agencies) and coordinated extensively with these entities and various donors, partners, research & academic institutions. Throughout her career span, she has fostered community-based and community-led initiatives. Currently, as co-founder and Steering Committee member of the Global Civil Society Network for Malaria Elimination (CS4ME) as well as an independent professional, she continues to advocate for community systems strengthening and inclusive and equitable responses to end malaria. She is a member of the Global Fund Community, Rights and Gender (CRG) Advisory Group and a core member of the India Working Group for Health Advocacy (IWG), amongst other affiliations.
KIPEMOSSO PREMIER CLAUDE
Pastor KIPEMOSSO Premier Claude Franck was born on December 3, 1953, in the district of Kibangou, Niari department. He is the father of 6 children. He attended primary school in Kibangou, then secondary school and university in Brazzaville where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in commercial techniques and his degree in economic sciences with a specialization in corporate finance. He began his community life in 1975 by setting up cooperatives in the field of agriculture. In 2005, he held the position of Secretary in charge of projects and then Executive Director of the Coordination of Congolese Religious Confessions for Health and Development (COREC/SADE). In 2009, he was elected delegate of the religious confessions to the National Coordination Committee of the projects financed by the Global Fund to fight HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria (CCN) where he was Permanent Secretary of the CCN from 2009 to 2010 and President of the Strategic Monitoring Committee from 2011 to 2017. He was appointed the Focal Point of GFAN Francophone Africa in 2018. From 2019 to the present, he is the President of the Platform of NGOs and Associations fighting against malaria in the Republic of Congo. He is a member of CS4ME and has integrated several CS4ME working groups.
SHREEHARI ACHARYA, MPH, MEd.
Shreehari Acharya is a self-motivated public health professional with more than 10 years of professional experience in strategic planning, program development, management, coordination of projects, and monitoring at local, national, and regional levels. Those skills are built based on his past working experience particularly in health and sanitation, family planning, HIV/AIDS, Health Impact Assessment, and Malaria, working with various organizations in South Asia and Southeast Asia. He developed his skills in facilitating effective communities and civil society engagement in the development and implementation of national strategic plans in partnership with the government, local NGOs as well as development partners. Shreehari is a passionate advocate of community system strengthening and health equity. Shreehari is currently working with ALIGHT as a Project Manager of the Malaria Free Mekong (known as Malaria CSO Platform, GMS). CSO platform is the largest malaria community and CSO network in the Greater Mekong sub-region.
TUMAINIEL MANGI
Tumainiel Mangi is a health and children’s rights activist with over 10 years of experience working with public health and defending children’s rights. He is an accountant and a finance expert by profession, equipped with various skills ranging from Project Management, M&E to Resource Mobilization and Fundraising, and many more. Due to his capacity, Mr Mangi has been engaged with a number of initiatives to end Malaria both at the national and international level while integrating other sectors including Education, Economic Development, Research, SDGs and Human Rights. He has worked on different initiatives including USAID-funded projects on WASH and SCI. He was a National (Tanzania) Focal point person for the global SDGs campaigns Action2015 and Beyond 2015 towards SDGs goals. He is also a board member and member of various technical working groups of experts and networks working to end Malaria, health for all, and advance community health in both PHC and UHC. Currently, he is the Executive Director of Health for Children Organization (HeCO) in Tanzania. An NGO organization focusing on advancing community health with a priority on ending Malaria, HIV and TB in children.
